WHY THE NAME DAS MULE?
Joe and I love all things outdoors. We are avid trail runners, mountain bikers and hikers.
As a result, we appreciate quality gear that is durable, multi-functional, efficient and can be had for a reasonable price.

DAS, of course, is a tribute to the Germans for creating the Vanagon. We are ever grateful!
MULE stands for Multi-functional, Utility, Logistics, Equipment. AND mules themselves are fantastic animals. The offspring of a male donkey and a female horse, mules are a combination of the best characteristics of both animals in terms of attitude and capabilities.
And so, DAS MULE: products that are M.U.L.E. in both attitude and capabilities. Durable, reliable, affordable gear to make a great vehicle even better.
